Two big issues with Microsoft systems revealed just how vulnerable our interconnected tech infrastructure can be.On Thursday, Microsoft Azure had a huge outage in the central U.S., causing problems for many clients, including some airlines. Then on Friday, a flawed security update from CrowdStrike hit many Windows devices. This update, affecting CrowdStrike's Falcon Sensor software, led to major disruptions because it's crucial for cybersecurity tasks.Security experts said fixing these systems would need manual intervention, which is slow and resource-heavy. This incident didn't just disrupt services; it showed the big challenges in maintaining strong cybersecurity today.Branko Džakula, a cybersecurity expert and CIO at BrightMarbles Group, shared his thoughts. He noted the likely rise in cyberattacks after such outages and stressed, "Companies need to be proactive in their cybersecurity measures.
