We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Yiftee this year to offer digital gift cards! These E-Gift cards are designed to support local businesses and make transactions smoother. Here's a quick guide on how to process these digital gift cards.Yiftee has made a video for merchants to learn more about how to process an e-gift card in your POS system. https://lnkd.in/gPu89k7sWhat is an E-Gift Card?- A virtual gift voucher that can be redeemed using a smartphone or printed out.How to Process an E-Gift Card:- The customer provides an image with a 16-digit code, expiration date, CVV, zip code, and authorization amount.- Process it like a phone order with a credit card.- If the purchase is less than the authorized amount, the unused amount remains on the card.- If the purchase is more, charge up to the authorized amount first, then use another payment method for the rest.Special Cases:- Split transactions are allowed but ensure the voucher amount is not exceeded to avoid declines.- Powered by Mastercard, so it works like a regular credit card within the network.Need Assistance?Call Yiftee at: 650-564-4438 or email: info@giftee.comThank you for being a part of our community and supporting local businesses with our new e-gift cards!
